my family LOVES pizza but I am not a fan of the huge amounts of grease and carbs you inevitably get when ordering in or making your own. So I came up with this yummy dip 🙂 Tastes just like pizza and is super addicting 🙂

I used a large square baking pan for this batch but a 9x13pan would work just fine 🙂

Hot Pizza Dip

  • 4oz.Cream Cheese
  • 4oz.Sour Cream (or for a lower fat version try Greek yogurt) 🙂
  • 6oz.Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/4cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4cup(for top) + 1/4cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2Tbsp. fresh Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2tsp.Italian seasoning
  • 2cloves of pressed garlic
  • pepperoni cut into small triangles
  • 1.5-2 cups spaghetti sauce of your choice (if you have no homemade on hand I have used Hunts 4cheese before and it works fine)
  • any other pizza toppings you like (my kids are plain pepp and cheese kids, but you can add all your favorite toppings) 🙂
  • one can of diced stewed tomatoes (or fresh canned ones)
  • french baguette sliced (toast it in the oven under the broiler for a few minutes if you like)
  • optional* I add 1-2tsp. of red pepper flakes to mine bc I love the added kick it gives, but you cam def make this without them 🙂

Preheat oven to 400F

Spray your pan with your nonstick spray of choice ( I love my Pampered chef spritzer :))

In a med bowl mix together the cream cheese, sour cream(or Greek yogurt), ricotta, Italian seasoning, garlic, 1/4cup of parm cheese, and 1/4cup mozz. cheese until well blended.

spread the cheese mixture on the bottom of the pan.

top cheese mixture with spaghetti sauce and diced tomatoes.

top the sauce with the mozzarella cheese and then your pizza toppings finish with the fresh grated parm cheese

place in your preheated oven and bake for about 15minutes or until bubbling and cheese starts to turn golden brown!

Scoop a spoonful onto a slice of the baguette and enjoy the yumminess!! 🙂
