My family and I have been fighting some nasty illnesses lately from tummy bugs to colds and even pneumonia! So lets just say that I have been on the search for simple and easy dinner ideas! I am LOVING my crock pot lately! Especially with the weather getting chillier! 🙂 I was searching the web for crock pot recipes ideas and I came across this gem! 🙂 At first I was a little skeptical because really how good could chicken cordon bleu be in a crock pot!!??!! Oh it is that good!! It is AMAZING! This will definitely be added to our winter menus!

Crock pot Chicken Cordon Bleu

  • 4 boneless skinless Chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4-6 slices of Swiss cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2tsp. onion powder
  • 1cup Milk
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 stick melted butter or margarine
  • 1 box stuffing mix
  • 2Tbsp. spicy mustard

First start by layering your chicken on the bottom of the crock pot. I cut my chicken breasts in halves to make smaller pieces.

Salt and pepper both sides of the Chicken and add the onion powder

Spread the mustard over the chicken

layer the ham then the Swiss to cover the chicken ( I just got cooked ham form the deli)

Next add the Cream of Chicken and the milk. Kind of wiggle the chicken, cheese and ham around to make sure it get all mixed

Sprinkle the dry stuffing mix over top (I used a box of Chicken Stove Top)

Then top with the melted butter

Cook in Crock pot on low for 4-6hrs

ENJOY!! 😀
