White Peach Frozen Yogurt

  • 2cups of water
  • 1 1/2 fine sugar
  • 5-6 ripe white peaches
  • 3Tbsp. Peach Schnapps***
  • 1 1/2 cups Greek Yogurt (I used Chobani) **

Bring the water and sugar to boil in a sauce pan. Once boiling add the alcohol. Let boil for 3minutes and then simmer until it turns into a clear syrup. Peel, seed and chop the peaches and place them in a mixing bowl.  Pour the hot syrup over the peaches and let cool. (I let mine set in the refrigerator over night) At this point you can transfer the liquid to your ice cream maker if you have one. I didnt know where my husband hide mine ice cream maker haha, so I just poured mine in a tupperware container and placed in the freezer. I then whisked the mix every 30minutes till frozen through. When you are ready to enjoy this yumminess, take it out of the freezer and let set on the counter for around 8-10 minutes before scooping. ENJOY!!

disclaimer: my girls and I ate soo much of this before it even reached the freezer! Hahaha it is THAT good!! 😀 And it did not last very long in the freezer, I believe it was gone in 2days! 😀 I cant wait to try other fruits with this recipe!

**If you want it creamer, use full fat yogurt. I uses plain 0% Chobani and it had more of a sorbet texture…but I love sorbet! haha
