IMAG1226Turkey Teriyaki Egg Rolls

  • 2lbs ground turkey breast
  • 1/2 small red onion (diced)
  • 2 small sweet baby bell peppers (diced)
  • 4 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 Serrano pepper (finely chopped)
  • 1/2cup Teriyaki sauce
  • 3Tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
  • 2 cranks of fresh sea salt
  • 4 cranks of fresh black pepper
  • 2Tbsp EVOO
  • 1 package Egg Roll Wraps (I used Nasoya brand)
  • 3Tbsp. melted butter

Sweet Chili and Wasabi Sauce

  • 2/3 cup of low fat sour cream
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 3Tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • Wasabi sauce

Preheat oven 425F

In a skillet, set on medium high heat, add EVOO , garlic , onion and peppers. Let them cook through until the onion is starting to get golden.

Add the ground turkey breast, salt and pepper

Once the turkey starts to brown, add the teriyaki and worchestershire sauce. Let simmer for 5 minutes then remove from the heat.

Brush the bottom of a sheet pan with the melted butter

Spoon 2 heaping tsps of the meat mix in the center of each egg wrap. Top with 1tsp of sweet chili sauce and a drizzle of the wasabi. Roll up the one side, then each end and all the way rolled.

Once all of them are filled, line the pan and then brush each one with the remaining melted butter.

Bake in oven for 15-20min or until golden brown and crispy.

I served with Rice topped with more Teriyaki sauce and had remaining sweet chili w wasabi for dipping. My boys dipped theirs in more teriyaki sauce 🙂

ENJOY!!! 🙂 My family sure loved them! 🙂
